We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head of Department who will be responsible to drive our Higher Education provision. The ideal candidate will be an experienced higher education practitioner and be confident to plan, deliver and design programmes to broaden and expand our offer within our Higher Education Centre. The ideal candidate will have a health or teaching and learning background, and have experience delivering, assessing, monitoring and tracking progress for groups. They will line manage a team of staff to provide first class, contemporary higher education experiences to all of our learners. The person will work closely with the Head of Dept and Leeds University Centre to develop new courses specific to the local area and need and help to drive our new leadership academy The ideal candidate will be experienced with course validation and moderations, as well as be confident with the examination and HE Quality processes
