About Loughborough Schools Foundation

Careers at Loughborough Schools Foundation

To stroll down the tree-lined avenue of Burton Walks, surrounded by elegant architecture and courteous students, and knowing you are part of an educational family that can trace its roots back to 1495 is, even on a grey day, a fine start to anybody’s working day.

It is with some justification, that we believe there is nowhere quite like the Loughborough Schools Foundation. We are a progressive charitable Foundation comprising a Nursery, two complementary Prep Schools and three high achieving Senior Schools; The Grammar School for boys, The High School for girls and Amherst School, a non-selective, co-educational School.

The family we refer to embraces some 2,000 pupils and 750 staff. Together we provide an education to cherish for children from as young as six weeks old all the way to exam success at eighteen, a university of choice or simply the confidence, moral compass and ambition to succeed in life on their own terms.

The Foundation’s breadth enhances our educational offer, enhances the facilities we are able to provide and enhances the quality of our staff and their working environment. Whether heading up a department or joining our talented Grounds staff, you will have all the support and resources you need to make the most of your abilities and, in so doing, contribute to each and every one of our pupils achieving the same for themselves.

If we have a suitable vacancy, we very much look forward to receiving your application and perhaps, in the near future, welcoming you into the Foundation family.
