About Westonbirt School

Westonbirt Schools provide exceptional independent education for boys and girls aged 3-11 in the Prep School and, for girls aged 11-18 in the Senior School.

Set in fabulous grounds of 210 acres, our students are inspired by the beauty of their surroundings. Against this historic backdrop there are excellent modern sporting and teaching facilities, successfully combining traditional values with a thoroughly modern approach to learning in a vibrant, forward thinking community of young minds.

Pupils achieve their full academic and personal potential in a supportive and nurturing environment. Girls can attend as day pupils, full boarders or flexi-boarders. Music, Drama and Sport are strong and the school has its’ own £3 million sports centre.

In 2015, Westonbirt girls achieved 52% A*-A Grades in their GCSE’s. In Sixth Form, 95% of girls went to their first choice of University. The 2014 Good Schools Guide describes Westonbirt as “in the top five per cent of schools in the UK for value added”, a measure of a pupils academic achievement between the ages of 11 and 16.
